We've Been Bitten....

by the ol' fishin' bug!  

Going fishing was #2 on our warm weather bucket list and that's what we did two days last week AND yesterday too!

To catch a fish you must be very patient.....

And serious! (even if you have to fish with a pink, girl pole!)

We had some special company at the pond this day too. A little family of geese decided to stop by. This was exciting to see, and we enjoyed watching them make their way around the pond.

Notice the tall goose in the back. We think he was the daddy.

Sweet little babies. Ethan wanted to hold one so badly.

I told the boys that the daddy was telling me, "Don't come any closer!"

We were hoping that they had come to stay but the next day Papa told us that they were gone, probably visiting another neighborhood pond. I'm so glad the boys got to see them!

One last picture - the cat! The boys loved having her tag along with us.

That's one visitor that won't go away! Olive seems to think every time we go fishing she has to come along and keep an eye on us.

Now we are all practiced up on our fishing skills! Here we come, Uncle Larry and Aunt Tammy! We can't wait to fish in your big pond come this May!
