Finally Home

Last night Anna Mae went home to Jesus. And even though we have been on this journey of goodbye for two years, it still took our breath away to hear that she was gone. It happened so quickly, so suddenly.

I am so sure that many of the family spent a restless, sleepless night as Jon and I did. A night with tears and sighs, oh if only's and maybe even a few more whys. And yet, through the sadness and heartache there was a glimmer of hope, a peace, even joy and relief that, for her, it is over. No more struggle, or discomfort, or pain, no more confusion, she is finally at rest and at home with so many of her dear loved ones.

Still, she left behind so many dears ones here too. So many family and friends that loved her and will be grieving so. May God come and with His Holy Spirit wrap us in arms of everlasting love and hold us up as we grieve this loss.

We love you, Anna Mae, and we will miss you so......

Finally Home

When surrounded by darkness of the blackest night
Oh, how lonely death can be.
But at the end of this dark tunnel is a shinning light,
For death is swallowed up in Victory!

Just think of stepping on shore and finding it Heaven.
Of touching a hand and finding it God's.
Of breathing new air and finding it celestial.
Of waking up in glory and.....
finding it home.
